PLURONIC RPE 1740

PLURONIC RPE 1740 is a nonionic surfactant based on PEO/PPO block copolymers. It is primarily used as an effective foam suppressant in the chemical and technical industries, particularly in water-based lubricants and industrial process formulations. The reactive hydroxyl end groups allow for chemical modifications, such as esterification, to optimize antifoam performance or tailor the product to specific applications. In addition, PLURONIC RPE 1740 can improve dispersion, increase viscosity, reduce tack, and function as a lubricant or processing aid in a variety of industrial formulations.
