Description

Cereclor S45 is a mid-chain chlorinated paraffin (C14-C17 chain length). Cereclor S45 is used as a plasticizer and flame retardant in coatings, adhesives, sealants and PVC compounds. Particularly suited for use in roof coatings and PVA emulsion adhesives. For Extreme Pressure (EP) applications in metalworking fluids or lubricants, consider using Cereclor E45 instead.
