INDOPOL L-14 is a polybutene with typical properties such as molecular weight of 370, flash point above 138°C, acid number below 0.05 mg KOH/g and low pour point of -51°C. INDOPOL L-14 has a bromine number of 52 g Br2/100g, low viscosity and high flexibility even at low temperatures. These properties make INDOPOL L-14 suitable as base stocks and viscosity modifiers for industries requiring low temperature performance and shear stability. INDOPOL L-14 is permanently non-drying, colourless and non-staining, tacky, emulsifiable, excellent electrical insulator, good lubricant / shear stable, non-corrosive, practically non-toxic, stable to light and air (i.e. oxidatively stable) under ambient conditions, low pour point, complete depolymerisation.
