DELVOCOAT 8831/3 is an aqueous dispersion of polyvinyl acetate (PVA) developed by DSM for use in food coatings applications. DELVOCOAT 8831/3 provides an effective film forming barrier with minimum film forming temperature of 6-7°C, making it suitable for applications where a protective coating is required at low temperatures. Its viscosity range of 6300-9300 mPa-s and resistance to freezing allows for uniform application of DELVOCOAT 8831/3. The preservative agent Natamycin (E235) in DELVOCOAT 8831/3 helps maintain the integrity and shelf life of coated products.
