EMPIGEN OD

EMPIGEN® OD is an aqueous solution of alkyl (C12-C18) dimethylamine oxide. EMPIGEN® OD is extremely versatile as a co-surfactant. It helps to create and stabilize copious foam, as well as improving emulsification and soil removal. The properties of EMPIGEN® OD can be modified by adjusting the pH of the formulation. It is commonly used as a solubilizing agent and viscosity modifier in household cleaning products with both hypochlorite and peroxide bleaches. EMPIGEN® OD is resistant to oxidation and improves the conditioning characteristics of shampoos and other personal care products. EMPIGEN® OD is suitable for use in formulations that must comply with regulations on cleaning products and personal care items.
